The EK failed it's MoT today on needing 2 new tyres, also started idling weirdly. Gotta clean the IACV out now and fit the OEM alloys back on.

Old cars are so ghey tbh.

also started idling weirdly.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes, then letting it idle for another 10?

Strange idling can be common in colts and that's the solution most the time...

Not yet no, was thinking of doing that the other day but I remembered just before midnight and couldn't see a thing to do it

Will try later. More than likely the IACV though, quite a few on civiclife have had the same problem recently.

Tyres aren't illegal though! Reckon the guy just wanted the business, fits tyres too I think!

He's always been awesome about the decat though

Anyhoo, car is being picked up on saturday hopefully! Guy wants it as a K20 swap project
