Need new brake pads soon so thought I may as well paint the calipers while I'm at it, any suggestions?

Don't want them to stand out too much, but they need to suit the car still! Hard to pick a colour to match the car then.

Was thinking of maybe doing them silver

of your current ones behind the wheels

I did mine silver, was gonna be either that or black.

Wouldn't go for any other colour really, although red would suit your car much better than it would mine.

They're basically unpainted atm. lol

Got Type R written on them, reckon I should paint that a diff colour? ie silver calipers with the 'R' in red and 'Type' in black, or maybe just the 'R'... or not at all

Aye, do that

Edit,

Possibly the "TYPE" in black though? To stand out from the silver more.

Do them like Tris said, black lettering with a red R
Hammerite in a tin (non-spray) is about £4 at morrisons iirc, buy some of that and apply it with a cotton bud.

Keep wanting to mine a different colour, maybe when I swap the wheels over for winter...
