Think Andy will like this one...

How it arrived (apart from missing rear end!)

Its a 'SiR' model or something, an import but he wanted to look like a type R.
Come up pretty well for a cheap track car jobbie

I'd like it more if it were a facelift

And not done in CW... with the standard SiR lip retained.

But good job on the respray, looks good (Y)

Whats a facelift one look like?
The splitter was a cheap ebay jobbie, paint in the arse to fit!

Probably the easiest car I've ever stripped though, not 1 snapped bolt or rusted screw!

Facelift is what mine looked like

Thought it was a replica lip, didn't look right somehow! Although neither does the car in general, needs 5 a stud conversion to help achieve the true EK9 look. Would've been better in another colour for sure though IMO, CW is played out now lol

Inside is still blue Customer wasn't bothered as it's a stripped and caged track car. We did it pretty cheap aswell.
Not sure what engines in it, but it was a dohc

Rear bumper is genuine I think, and the spoiler is. Grille and front splitter are ebays.
The front one bows out at the sides cause it's really stressed. Had to proper stretch it into place, they're not a brilliant fit! Infact the ebay grille wasn't a brilliant fit either Had to heat up the tabs and bend them to make i fit the bumper!

Nice big brakes though

And don't say CW is played out, I'm hopefully getting a dc5 within the year

Engine will be a B16A with 167bhp, alright for a track car

I'd get a DC5 in CW but not an EK9 or EP3... unless it was a facelift like mine. They suit it more I reckon, look more classy in CW.
