3 years of saving has finally paid off

02 plate, 2010 imported, 1 owner, 50k, ~250bhp!
Was a 530mile round trip, well worth it.

Drove it properly today, I love it! Didn't realise how much fuel vtec uses though hah!

Having a little clutch problem already though, think the master cylinder is playing up.
Clutch pedal stays down and it gets stuck in gear when in reverse, have to turn the car off to get it into neutral again. D'oh"

Removed the track sticker today, and the front plate. Need to get some pics!

Taking the silly sweat band thing off might fix it

There isn't one on the clutch reservoir

Just hoping the clutch issue isn't the release bearing, otherwise it'll be gearbox out and a £200+ clutch
No idea if it's ever been changed tbh!

Theres a squeak coming from the engine bay, it sounds like its coming from the slave cylinder.
Possibly realese bearing though, as it's pretty close to it......

I know I know, but any excuse to take the mick out of those sock things

On a serious note, hope the minor issues don't turn out to be anything major.

Sorted the squeak, just greased the knuckle where the slave cylinder pushes onto. Worked a treat
Haven't taken it for a spin yet, but I doubt thats fixed the sticky clutch. More than likely going to be master cylinder.

I was going to get a set of rays, but been told they don't fit. Only ones I can find are 'sprint wheels' nuts. All the others have aftermarket tapers to them.

Got a pair of samco radiator hoses ordered too

It's a fair while till I turn 21 so may aswell get the car how I want it now!

I can't justify £3k insurance for 6 months May aswell wait and get it for £1500ish for a year.
Think my dads still insured, and I am through my work for trips there and back every now and again though.
