Bro bought a brand new car last night then...

Mitsubishi Colt CZ2 3 door in Atlantis Blue.

£8999 as standard, but my bro paid £9177 with the following extras included...

Gap insurance: £295
Metallic paint: £325
Tax: £165
3 years servicing: £150
Supaguard: £249
Interior mats: £22

Pic of the colour:

Test drove a 1.1 too and felt really sluggish in 2nd up towards 40mph, 1.3 got to 40 quite easily in 3rd.

Great first car, the jammy coont lol

Mine either, I know what I'd rather spend 9k on.

Still a nice car though, and he'll be the first owner. 3 years warranty & servicing etc makes it a great deal IMO... although I'd have had it in gunmetal grey, personally.

Wouldn't have bought a brand new car tbh

Would've got a year or two old one, or something

Well,

That was the plan originally and it nearly happened, but the one we went to look at (the perfect spec, in grey too) had scratches all over it and a fag burn in the back. Plus it was only an extra £1200 for a brand new car, that's if you factor in servicing costs for the 2nd hand one.

He'll be keeping it for a few years I should imagine anyway, won't lose a massive amount of money - over the first year at least. The other one was just over a year old, in average condition and still up for 7k. So meh.

The colour is cool though, never seen one that colour before etc
